Tomer Sapir (b. 1977) lives and works in Tel Aviv. His sculptural works include installations, videos, drawings and collages.

Sapir received his MFA (cum laude) from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. He is the recipient of numerous prizes and grants, including the Young Artist Award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture (2012), a grant from Artis (2013), a grant from Outset Israel (2014), and a grant for the publication of an artist’s book from the Israel Lottery Council for Culture & Arts (2016) and The Creativity Encouragement Award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture (2018).

His works have been featured in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions in Israel and abroad, at venues including The Israel Museum, Jerusalem; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; Bass Museum, Miami; Apexart, New York; National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), New Delhi; Open Look International Dance Festival, Saint Petersburg; SLSC (Saint Louis Science Center); Haifa Museum of Art; Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art; Petach Tikva Museum of Art; Beit Hankin Museum, Kfar Yehoshua; The Genia Schreiber University Art Gallery, Tel Aviv; Chelouche Gallery for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv; and Kunstverein KunstHaus, Potsdam.
